The Newsela Learning Domain on BetterLesson includes 100 cross-curricular teaching strategies that focus on literacy skill development for grades 2-12. These strategies contain vibrant digital reading experiences using Newsela texts and text sets.  Each strategy is designed to supercharge student reading engagement and infuse literacy skills into every content area.

The strategies in the Newsela Learning Domain were developed as part of the Newsela + BetterLesson Master Teacher Project. Nine Newsela Certified Educators and Resource Writers were selected to share their top cross-disciplinary literacy practices. These exemplary educators showcase their best teaching methods across grade bands and subject areas, and knowledge about the most powerful use of the Newsela tools.
